About Us
The Design Activist Institute is an intersectional, autonomous, grassroots collective of designers working for radical, utopian resistance and building a better world. The core of our approach is a commitment to co-creating with communities and generating creative cooperation with our fellow members of the working class. In total, 21 of us contributed to this project at varying points, infusing the design collective with democratic decision-making and consensus-building to visualize and organize for a better future.

Through the Utopascope project, the Design Activist Institute aims to organize a response-based project based on community input. Vote on your favorites and reach out with how you would like to collaborate with us on any of these community organizing practices. The Design Activist Institute will facilitate a project with the greatest community interest.
